Our prices for stereo and stem mastering are shown below and include tax, with no hidden costs. Stereo mastering rates are based on the number of tracks in your project, while stem mastering rates are based on the number of stems supplied per track.
If you also need a separate vinyl pre-master, this can be added for £10 per track. You’ll receive a master prepared for digital release and a separate version prepared for vinyl.

Prices include
- 16-bit, 44.1 kHz WAV for CD production (if you need a DDP image for CD then this will be £20 extra)
- 24-bit, 44.1 kHz WAV for digital release, plus a separate vinyl pre-master where ordered
- MP3 for each streaming master as standard
- Up to 2 revisions per track
24-bit, 44.1 kHz is the minimum resolution. Where files are supplied at a higher sample rate or bit depth, we will match the source resolution where appropriate (e.g. 32-bit float, 96 kHz).

- A vinyl pre-master is prepared specifically for vinyl cutting and may require different treatment from a master intended for digital release. For example, excessive limiting and very wide low-frequency stereo information may need to be avoided.
- The vinyl pre-master may also have a lower overall level than the digital master. If you order both, you’ll receive two separate files, each prepared for its intended format.
- Stereo mastering starts at £50 for a single track, with reduced per-track rates for EPs and albums. Stem mastering starts at £70 per track for projects supplied with up to six stems.
- All prices include tax and up to two revisions per track. A separate vinyl pre-master can be added for £10 per track.
- We recommend sending your mixes as high-resolution WAV or AIFF files at the sample rate and bit depth used during mixing. There’s no need to convert them to 44.1 kHz or reduce the bit depth before sending them.
- If you’re unsure whether your files are suitable for mastering, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to check them.
- Stem mastering involves supplying several separate elements of your mix rather than a single stereo file — for example, drums, bass, vocals and instruments.
- This gives us additional control over individual parts of the mix during mastering and can be useful where a finished stereo mix would benefit from adjustments that are difficult to make without affecting other elements.
