- A vinyl pre-master is a specially prepared version of the digital master which avoids heavy limiting and wide stereo bass (i.e., excess low frequencies in the sides of the stereo image)
- As such, a vinyl pre-master is usually rendered at a quieter volume than a track for digital streaming, but there’s no comparison to be made in the end as they relate to completely different systems for playback.
Starting at £50 per track (inclusive of tax) with cheaper rates applied for multi-track orders (see the table of rates on this page)
- Yes, we will accept AIFF as well as WAV (but not MP3)

Stem mastering is the process of taking a limited number of tracks (lead vocal, backing vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards, effects) and blending them together to produce a master. It essentially combines elements of the mixing and mastering process. It’s more complicated and time-consuming than stereo mastering and this is reflected in the pricing.
